Sudan

  Whats hapenning ?
In Sudan they are taking votes for the souths  fredom or for the north and south to stay toghether. This is going on because they found oil in the south and now the north whants the oil but the south just wants peace.

   Why do I care ?
Because they are people, just like us they diserve to have peace and live their hole life.If this ends up in war millions of people in Sudan are going to die, put yourself in their shoes !

  How can I help ?
Whe can support them by taking action.

 

3rd world farmer

Part 1 :
From the blog post I learned a lot of stuff because I dint know that being a farmer was really difficult and that they suffer so much, and that when they are ill they dont have enough money to get better and go to the doctor. I don't fell very happy because they work so much for us and them to but they dont get enough money to feed their hole family, and to pay the doctor and that they have wether issues because if it rains it can flood the hole farm and that means that they lost a lot of money.

              
  Part 2:

1. They have to face natural disasters. Like when it rains to much and there is a flood they end up losing money instead of gaining. And people can steal there tools and without there tools they really cant work.
2. the same answer for number one .
3. Farming provides food for everyone, and farming doest really earn vert much money. It gets in the way of going to school so young girls insted of going to school they have to stay at home and work and they dont get any education , so they have to stay home to help there family survive.
4. Think Creatively
5. I learned the terms, and I learned that farming is a hard way of life that involves a lot of work and stratergies and that it doesnt really give you that much money so you cant really suport your family and when some one in your family  is sik you dont have enough money to help them go to the hospital.
6. It will efect me a lot because now I will think very diferently and in the future I might try to help   

December 1st, Aids Day.

Just for you to think about how many people in the world have AIDS is really sad, lots of people are dying, families are being torn because of this disease we can help stop it.We raised a lot of money to help lots of people that are contaminated with AIDS have a life of a normal person.I think that what we made lots of people happy and we changed lots of little kids life, just to think that a 3 year old girl that has AIDS might die still young and not be able to live a hole life is all sow really sad and just to think that we raised allot of money and that we can help lots of people is really cool. I think that the rafles were a very good idea and that we raised lots of money. The thing that I think that I will remember about yesterday is all the fun stuff we got to do and that we raised lots of money and that we got to help allot o people.

    I think that next year the global issues class should have more games and do something that can catch the attention of lots o people.

   I learned that little actions can do big things.

Ideas for AIDS day

- we can have a bake sale
- we can have f activities
- we can get the teachers involved with AIDS games
- we can have a play

What are global issues ?

 Global issues are problems that happen around the world.
  Like for example global worming: We are polluting the world by the smoke that the factories emits, also the cars and etc.
There is also the floods that is happening in vietnam and other places.There is also a problem in the world with world hunger  lots of people are living in misery and starving to death because they don't have any food or shelter or clean water or education and etc.

     Why should we care ?

 We should care because we are all equal, we are all the same. We have to put our self in there position, they suffer every day trying to get water or food and build a shelter , there are people wo have a families and they care about there child and they will do anything to get home and have food for there family.They need are help, so thats why we have to care and help them ,this person who needs help could be me our you so think about what there going throw!
